1981 - MAstering the Science of Yoga with Yogi Yogananda PuriMarch 05 20202020-03-05A photograph of a large crowd of devotees gathered in a stone-paved courtyard of a South Indian temple, many wearing white clothes and some in yellow. Tall white gopuram towers rise behind a pink-washed colonnaded hall with carved granite pillars. A stone shrine canopy stands in the centre, and a green tree shades the left side. Ornate lamps are fixed on the right wall. Most people appear to be walking toward the temple. No single person in the crowd is clearly identifiable as a person.2010-01-08December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04SHYAMALAPEETA SARVAJNAPEETAM on 1/31/20222022-01-31December 25 20052005-12-25Photograph looking upward from beneath a large tree with dark spreading foliage in the upper left and a bare trunk at left, framing a tall ornately carved stone gopuram of a temple. Tiers of sculpted figures and niches rise to a pointed top against a pale blue sky with a faint moon. A smaller carved gopuram stands at right, and a low pinkish-walled temple structure is at lower left. No people are visible.September 4 1989 - earliest ever recorded public functionA bare-chested shaved-headed man takes a close selfie on a red-brick temple rooftop. He wears dark rudraksha mala beads with a bead pendant and gold chain, a sacred thread over his shoulder, and white vertical forehead markings with a red dot. Behind him rises a tall ornate gopuram temple tower covered in carved sculptures, with another smaller tower and a cloudy sky beyond. A visible date stamp reads Feb 24, 2022 at 7:08:44 AM. Concrete blocks and metal railings sit on the rooftop.2022-02-24August 21 20062006-08-21Black-and-white photograph of a tall, ornately sculpted gopuram of the Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai, its tiers covered in rows of carved deity and figure sculptures, with a rocky hill rising behind it on the left. A small framed portrait sits in the lower-left corner: a older man with short grey hair and a light-coloured shirt, shown against a blue backdrop with a garland of marigold-yellow flowers draped over his shoulders. No physical people are visible in the main scene, and the portrait is a printed photograph, so no in-person candidate is present. The portrait carries no readable caption.December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04
