Before him on the floor sits a banana leaf laid with rice, fried snacks, sweets and a steel tumbler, with more banana-leaf plates and a plate of orange marigold garlands and flowers beside them. Behind him a woman in an orange shawl sits on a mat with white garments and a plastic bag nearby, and a bamboo mat rests against a concrete wall. The setting appears to be a bare concrete hall with a tiled floor. This looks like a food offering or feast setting, with a ritual meal arranged on banana leaves.2006-10-12 +1 copies
