A row of men in white ritual clothes and white shirts stand on a sandy ground with coloured kolam rangoli patterns near a small fire pit. One man in white dhoti kneels and bends forward to touch the ground, another in a white shirt and light blue trousers touches his chest with a hand, and a bearded man in white kurta with rudraksha mala stands with hands folded. A woman in a light grey sari stands at the right edge. Bamboo mats lie on the ground and a wooden temple structure stands at the right. No one in the image is identifiable as a person.2010-12-22Outdoor ritual yagna under a corrugated shelter with palm trees and red and pink draped cloth behind. A square fire pit with a sacred fire sits on a mat at the centre, flanked by a silver kalasha and small brass lamps. Numerous men in white dhotis and shirts stand with palms joined in prayer among rows of white stone platforms holding offerings. On the right, a figure in orange robes with a white flower garland stands at the pit, and several people in saffron-orange robes stand beside an ornate peetha-style seat with a decorative backrest. Festive flags and small canopies line the background. The scene appears to be a homa or puja during a brahmotsavam-type celebration.2006-12-25Outdoor ritual scene in a dusty courtyard beside a red-and-white striped compound wall and green trees. A fire burns in a shallow metal dish inside a ring of stones and logs. A young woman in white stands on a mat at the ring's edge with hands folded. A man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange cloth kneels and tends the fire. Two more men in white stand at left holding items, and a green bin sits behind.2006-08-17Outdoor photograph of a ritual at a temple courtyard with a multicoloured canopy umbrella fringed with tassels overhead. On the left, a person in an orange saffron wrap and loose orange garment stands barefoot on a patterned mat in front of a white-draped table holding ritual items, with a brass lamp and small vessel on a mat in the foreground. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a walking staff stands at the left, facing the group. Several men wear white shirts and white dhotis, some with yellow scarves, and a row of boys in casual shirts stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them are white and red-doored buildings, a garland of yellow marigolds hanging on a doorway, and a small row of stone deity figures and a banyan-style tree at the left. Palm trees fill the background.2010-07-14Outdoor ashram scene with a bald man in white dhoti and white kurta holding a long staff, walking barefoot on paved tiles beside a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala.
