A photograph of two men in close, intimate contact during a ritual moment. On the left, a man with long, swept-back dark hair wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment and leans forward, his hands resting on the shoulders and head of the other man. On the right, a man with short dark hair bows his head low in a white dhoti-style garment, with a rudraksha mala visible at his neck and a wristwatch on his wrist. White and pink flowers lie in the foreground, and a partially visible person in yellow clothing stands behind. The background shows ornate red and gold painted pillars and stage structures. The left figure's long hair, saffron clothing and ornate background suggest a person in a blessing role with a devotee; the appearance is consistent with the page but not conclusive.2009-11-21November 21 20092009-11-21November 18 20092009-11-18A photograph of two men at close range under a white tent canopy with striped hanging banners on the pillars. The man on the left wears a long-sleeved saffron orange robe, has dark wavy hair tied back, and places one hand on the forehead of the other man while holding the back of his neck. The man on the right has white hair, wears a white kurta with a brown rudraksha-style mala visible at his chest, and a wristwatch on his left wrist, and has his eyes closed. A person in orange robes is partly visible at the right edge. The gesture resembles a blessing being given. a person candidate: the saffron-robed man has only a few cues (saffron clothing, a tied-back hairstyle), so identity is uncertain.2009-11-18December 13 20092009-12-13Close photo of two men facing each other in warm light. On the left, a smiling man with dark wavy hair and an orange sleeveless top, with a red tilak on his forehead, rests both hands on the head of an older man. The older man has grey hair, closed eyes, and wears a white shirt. A hand is raised in blessing near the centre.2009-12-13December 15 20092009-12-15Photograph of a man with dark hair and a grey moustache in a white shirt and gold bracelet, eyes closed, being blessed with a hand placed on his forehead by a figure in a red sleeveless top and orange shawl with long dark hair tied back. Another man in white stands behind them, and a few people are partly visible at the edges. In the background a dim hall has white garments on a rack and a framed portrait, with a seated figure at lower left. The orange-shawled figure is a candidate for a person by appearance cues of long swept hair and orange clothing, but the face and build are not clear enough to confirm, so this is marked as probable and uncertain.2009-07-25July 02 20102010-07-02 +1 copiesSeptember 12 20092009-09-12 +1 copiesSeptember 13 20092009-09-13 +1 copiesA photograph of a figure in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe with long dark hair tied back in a low knot, placing his right hand on the crown of a man's head. The recipient, in a white shirt with a dark tie, has eyes lowered and hands held together in a respectful gesture. Blurred people in white and yellow clothing stand in the background of an indoor hall with pale pink walls and windows. The figure in orange has a distinctive long swept hair and saffron clothing; his identity is not established by appearance alone, so he is described by role as the giver of blessing.2009-12-15
