A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with a red bindi sits on an ornate gold throne carved with floral and figural motifs against a backdrop of tree foliage. A man in a white shirt stands at left with both hands raised, placing his hands on the seated figure's head in a blessing or initiation gesture. A white flower garland hangs at lower right near another person partly visible at the edge. The seated figure has long dark hair and a warm smile. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears a saffron robe, has long swept-back hair and sits on a gold throne, cues consistent with the page's account of a session with the Supreme Pontiff.

A photograph of two men in an indoor hall with a dark backdrop and ornate gilded throne-like seat. On the right, a man with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi on his forehead, and an orange saffron wrap sits on a cream cushioned seat, smiling. Swamiji (probable) is the label for this figure, based on long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a red forehead mark. On the left, a shaved-headed devotee in white kurta with a rudraksha mala presses his palms together in a respectful greeting toward him. Behind, another figure in orange robes sits on the gilded throne.

Photo of a seated figure in an orange saffron robe with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi, placing a hand on the forehead of an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti-style trousers with a rudraksha-style mala. A gilded ornate throne with a carved golden backrest and red velvet cushions stands behind them, beside a bouquet of purple orchids, pink carnations and white flowers. A standing attendant in orange and white is at the left edge. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, saffron ornate-style robes and sits on a gilded throne, which together form the qualifying cues. The older man is a devotee receiving a blessing.

Photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe with a red tilak on his forehead, holding a small silver ceremonial implement and smiling, while a standing man in a white kurta with a yellow cord around his neck places his hand near the seated man's head. Behind them is an ornate gilded throne backrest with floral and scrollwork carving, and a backdrop of banyan tree foliage. Two people visible.

A smiling man in an orange saffron shawl and a gold ceremonial necklace sits on a red velvet cushioned seat in front of an ornate gold throne-like backdrop, with a red bindi on his forehead. He reaches forward to touch the head of a second man in a white shirt, who is seen from behind with his hand raised. Yellow marigold garlands and red fabric draped behind them. The seated man is identified only by appearance: a person, seated and blessing a devotee.

A seated man in a flowing saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair sits on a gold-carved throne upholstered in red-and-black zebra-striped cushions, holding a short stick in one hand. Before him stands a man in a white shirt and white dhoti, his palms pressed together in anjali near the seated man's face, performing a devotee's greeting or blessing. The backdrop is a large photographic print of a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A few other figures in orange and white are partly visible at the left edge. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, consistent with the page's claim. The standing devotee is in white with a rudraksha-style mala at his neck.
