On a raised platform, a person in orange robes sits on a white cushioned seat speaking, with a microphone on a stand before them; another figure in orange sits beside a fan on the left. Below, a dense crowd of devotees sits on the floor, mostly men and women in white clothing, some in orange robes at the front left. A camera operator with a video camera stands among the audience, and a person in orange with a shaved head sits in the foreground.2012-01-02A large indoor satsang hall with a white-walled interior and a corrugated metal roof with exposed blue steel beams and ceiling fans. Dozens of seated devotees fill the floor, mostly women in cotton saris in white, cream, teal and pink, with some men in white shirts and dhotis. A person in orange and red clothing sits on an ornate patterned throne at the front, with a framed portrait and a bouquet of flowers nearby. A cameraman films on a tripod at the left-centre of the room. Many women wear hair in long braids. The scene appears to be a formal discourse or darshan gathering.2011-12-09 +1 copiesNovember 22 20092009-11-22November 22 20092009-11-22January 02 20122012-01-02A photograph of a meditation hall with a dark red curtain backdrop and a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure on the wall above the stage. A man in white ritual clothing with an orange shawl sits on an orange-cushioned throne chair on the raised platform, gesturing with one hand while speaking. Below the stage, devotees sit on floor mats and folded cloths; some wear white and others wear saffron and orange, and rows of black and beige plastic chairs line the sides. Ceiling fans hang overhead and a standing fan stands near the stage. The man on the throne is a candidate for a person by appearance but is not clearly identifiable, so he is described by role as a speaker seated on a throne.2010-06-27A large seated gathering in an orange and gold draped tent hall at a Shuddhadvaitam camp in Ujjain. Many devotees in saffron and orange robes and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on carpets, with several in white garments. In the foreground, a figure holds a tall silver trident-staff, and a wall picture of a deity hangs above the assembly, decorated with garlands and green foliage. The scene suggests an initiation or satsang gathering.2016-05-06February 17 20162016-02-17 +1 copiesPhotograph of a satsang held in a plain room with a red draped backdrop and a white-covered seat. A figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a beaded necklace, sits on the white throne-like seat holding a microphone. Around him, a seated audience of men in white dhotis and shirts and women in saffron and orange saris sits on the floor, while bald men in orange and white attire sit near the front. On the right, a cameraman in orange films with a shoulder-mounted camera. A standing fan and a wall banner with ornate patterns complete the scene.2012-01-02
