Photograph of a decorated Durga pandal scene with large colourful clay murtis. On the left, a multi-armed goddess with black hair, yellow face and red sari holds weapons and rides a lion; beside her a blue deity figure stands. On the right, a yellow-robed goddess holds a veena, framed by a golden halo of small painted faces. Seated at the lower right, a bearded man with long dark hair, a pink flower garland and orange-striped cloth looks sideways and smiles; he appears to be a living person beside the murtis. Yellow marigold garlands, a silver throne and a pink canopy surround the scene.

On the right, a goddess in yellow robes holds a veena, with a seated man in an orange-and-white shawl and white garland offering a puja at a silver throne. Yellow marigold garlands, oil lamps and flower offerings surround the murtis, and an ornate yellow aureole with blue eyes frames them. The seated man is visible but his appearance is not clear enough to identify him, so his role is described only as a devotee performing puja.2017-09-28A large festive shrine with ornate golden-yellow arches decorated with painted faces.
