A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes, rudraksha malas and a red bindi sits at right on a white-draped seat, smiling as devotees approach. Behind him a standing attendant in white with an orange shawl holds a tray with sweets and offerings. A bald man in orange sits nearby, and an older man in white with an orange shawl and glasses stands at left among others in white. Devotees in white and orange line the foreground, with a table of books and prasad at lower right. The figure's distinctive long hair, saffron robes and rudraksha malas are visible cues, so this is a probable Swamiji in person.2008-03-24Outdoor photograph of a procession crowd at a roadside. A person in a long-haired, saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala stands centre-left under a large multicoloured canopy with tasselled fringe, beside a man in white holding a wooden pole. Behind them many people, mostly women in yellow, blue and pink saris, reach upward with hands raised toward an orange-robed figure standing on a raised platform at right. A flag and a banner are visible in the background.2009-01-21Dense outdoor crowd at an ashram inauguration in Tiruvannamalai. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a long swept-back hairstyle and multiple beaded necklaces is on the right, beside a white-cloth-draped seat, appearing to be a person in a ceremonial role. Nearby, men in white shirts and dhotis, some with white caps, move through the crowd; an elderly man in a white shirt with a green cloth draped over his shoulder is bent forward at centre. A saffron-robed figure with a tied-back ponytail stands in the lower foreground. Colourful bunting and tassels hang from a canopy overhead, with bamboo poles supporting the tent and a loudspeaker box in the middle.2008-04-19Outdoor ritual scene at an ashram on a sunny day. A figure in saffron-orange robes with long, swept-back dark hair and a large ceremonial gold pendant necklace sits cross-legged at a low covered table draped with purple and green cloth, pressing his hands together. Marigold petals and yellow flowers cover the table, with bananas, a brass plate, a small bowl of offerings and a brass kalasha nearby. Around him, devotees in orange and white clothes with rudraksha malas stand close, some with hands folded in prayer. A decorated canopy with red, green and yellow tassels shades the area, and white-clad people line a building behind. The figure appears to be a person based on the saffron robes, long swept-back hair and gold necklace, and is seated before the table in a role of leading the ritual.2008-12-23December 23 20082008-12-23March 23 20082008-03-23January 21 20092009-01-21March 24 20082008-03-24
