In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron turban and orange wrap with a yellow sash, wearing a heavy gold necklace and long hair, smiles while holding up a green bamboo pole topped with white cloth, white and red flowers and leaves. Beside him a bare-chested man with a sacred ash mark on his forehead and a dark rudraksha mala grips the pole, and a man in a sacred thread marks the left edge. He is surrounded by bare-chested men in white dhotis and a bearded man in orange at the right edge, with onlookers behind. A man in the centre wears an orange-saffron shawl, a thick marigold and red-flower garland over his shoulders, and a smiling expression, while people around him in orange robes and white dhotis hold garlands and a ceremonial staff topped with red flowers. A man on the right in a white shirt holds a yellow garland. A man in a white dhoti stands at left. The centre figure has a distinctive appearance and is described by the page as a person; his cues include a saffron shawl and ceremonial garlands, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.2012-09-11Photo 11684228December 28 20072007-12-28 +1 copiesFour men stand close together outdoors in front of a temple gateway with ornate carved pillars and a colourful painted tower behind them.
