A photograph of a dirt pathway curving through a grounds area shaded by a large spreading banyan tree with dense green foliage. White-painted curbs border the path and low green shrubs line the left side. At the end of the path, beneath the tree, is a raised red-draped platform or seat with a small figure in orange and white at its centre. Small white pillars stand nearby, and a grey wall with an arched opening lies behind. No people are clearly visible in the scene beyond the single seated figure near the shrine.

A photograph of a large, dense banyan tree with broad spreading canopy and many aerial roots in a landscaped garden. A curved sandy footpath edged with white painted kerbs winds toward a small circular area at the tree's base, which holds a mound of red earth or kumkum-coloured ground and a small enclosure. Trimmed yellow-green shrubs line the path, and a few thin young trees stand near the base. No people are visible in the scene.

Outdoor photograph of a dry, scrubby hillside with dense thorny bushes and bare branches. In the centre, a low concrete ledge runs along a stone retaining wall, and on it sits a small white-grey figure. Dry rocks and dead leaves lie on the ground below.

A rotated black-and-white photograph of an old stone temple or building with a sloped tiled or thatched roof, partly hidden by overgrown trees and foliage in the foreground. No people are visible. The structure appears weathered, with dark openings and a plain wall.

Outdoor photograph of a large spreading banyan tree with dense green canopy and hanging aerial roots, sheltering a small shrine at its base. A dark stone linga or shrine stands on a raised stone platform covered with red cloth and draped with red and white garlands. Patchy grass and bare earth surround the site, with other trees and a light sky visible. No people are present.

A dry, open woodland with slender tree trunks rising from sparse, pale grass along a sandy dirt path that curves toward the background. Green leaves form a canopy at the top of the frame. In the distance, a few small figures in light-coloured clothing stand near a white structure among the trees. A blue-violet object is visible at the upper left edge, and a leafy branch sits at the lower left corner.

Black-and-white photograph of an overgrown yard beside whitewashed monastery buildings, with a tall gopuram tower rising behind the roofline. A thin dirt path winds through tall grass and shrubs toward stone steps at right, and a small tree stands in the foreground. A single standing man in a light shirt and dark trousers is at far left near a low wall, partly visible. Weathered walls, small windows and a bench suggest an older temple-monastery compound.

A dusty dirt path runs between a tall whitewashed concrete wall on the right and dense scrubby trees and bushes on the left. Scattered litter, rubble and small stones lie along the ground, and dappled sunlight falls across the path. A white building and a utility pole stand in the background beyond the vegetation. No people are visible.

Vintage black-and-white photograph of an elderly, thin, bald man seated cross-legged outdoors on a checked mat or blanket. He is bare-chested, wearing a white cloth wrap around his waist and draped over his shoulder, with his hands resting on his knees. Behind him are dense green shrubs with small flowers, a low concrete wall, and a white domed temple-style structure among trees. The photo has aged sepia tones and creases.
