A photograph of a bare-chested man in glasses standing beside a framed portrait on a wooden easel in a plain white-walled room. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti draped over his lower body, a white beaded necklace, a dark rudraksha-style mala, and a red tilak on his forehead. The framed painting shows a seated older sage with a white beard and grey-toned skin, wearing a red robe and a red-beaded necklace, against a blue background. The portrait is decorated with white jasmine garlands and pink and orange flowers, and a metal vessel sits on the easel's ledge. A single electrical conduit runs along the ceiling and wall. The standing man has no visible distinctive a person cues beyond ordinary sannyasi attire, so his identity is uncertain.

Indoor photograph of a welcome moment in a small hall. A man with a shaved head and bare upper body, wearing a white dhoti, stands with palms joined in front of a group of saffron-robed men. The central saffron-clad man has a pink and purple flower garland and a tilak on his forehead, with hands folded. Other saffron-clad men in gold necklaces stand behind him, and one holds a small brass vessel. A plastic chair, a white cloth, and a silver tray with a brass vessel sit on the right, beside a red pillar. Behind them are framed posters of a goddess and a black-and-white portrait captioned with a name. The saffron-clad men are clothed in ochre garments, and the scene suggests a satsang welcome at Thovalai.

Photograph of a ceremonial scene on a gold-carved throne draped with red tiger-striped cushions and garlanded with yellow and red flowers. A seated man with swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron wrap over a red sleeveless top and holds a bare arm extended toward him. Kneeling before him on a white cloth-covered dais is an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti with rudraksha beads around his neck, bowing forward with hands clasped at the seated man's waist. A second person in orange robes stands at the left edge behind the scene. Woven bamboo screen and leafy green vines frame the background.

A photograph inside a temple hall where a long-haired figure in a saffron-orange sleeveless garment with flower garlands kneels low at the lower left, offering something in both hands to a standing elderly man in white dhoti and shawl with green-and-white border. Beside him an older man in white dhoti and a man with a red-and-white shawl stand close. A bald man in white with a microphone, a dark-haired man with a sacred thread, and an older woman in a green sari smile at the right. A yellow banner with Kannada script hangs on the left wall, and a golden ornament with yellow flower garlands decorates the shrine above. Five or more people are visible.

Outdoor stage event with a banner reading Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam in Tamil. A bald man in a white dhoti and red-gold shawl receives a bundle of fruit from a long-haired figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe and matching saffron turban. Behind them a deity image with a red crown and garland appears on a side banner. Two attendants in orange robes stand at left, one holding a tray, and a white-clothed seated figure with an orange cap is at lower right.

A photograph of a devotional ritual indoors with several people standing close together. In the foreground an older bald man with glasses and a white tilak on his forehead wears an orange robe and holds his hands together in prayer. Beside him a man with swept-back dark hair and white tilak wears a maroon robe and a long rudraksha mala, holding a small glass vessel with pink petals and a green leaf. On the right, a man in a white dhoti with gold border and bare upper body stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Other devotees with tilak and white or orange clothing stand in the background, and a silver staff is visible at the left edge.
