September 24 20162016-09-24Outdoor photo of a large crowd seated on stone pavement, many in white or orange clothing. In the centre, a long-haired figure in orange robes, a rudraksha-style gold beaded necklace and a gold armlet smiles and sits with hands joined; this person is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues (long swept hair, ornate gold necklaces, saffron clothing, a shawl) and the page names him at the event. Nearby, a man in orange holds a brass plate, a seated man holds a long staff, and devotees in saffron and white sit around; in the foreground a woman in red and orange sits with her back partly turned. Brass plates with offerings, fruit, and orange cloth lie on the ground.2011-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20October 12 20122012-10-12Outdoor photograph at a temple courtyard. In the centre, a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with a shawl and a long gold necklace sits cross-legged with palms pressed together in namaskar, a vertical tilak on the forehead. Beside and behind, several saffron-clad sannyasis sit on the stone pavement wearing rudraksha and gold mala necklaces, one with hands joined. To the left, a man in white dhoti with a white forehead band sits next to a uniformed attendant holding a tall staff. A large crowd in white and saffron stands behind a low wall and rough wooden scaffolding. The candidate matches Swamiji (probable) by long hair, saffron robes and ceremonial gold necklace, in a seated devotional gesture.2011-12-20March 03 20172017-03-03A photograph of a street scene during a Ratha Yatra in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. In the foreground, a person seated on a white plastic chair wears a long, swept-back dark hair, an orange wrap over a red top, and rudraksha-like beads, reaching forward to clasp the hands of a man in a white shirt and white trousers with a dark rudraksha mala. Around them, several people in white ritual clothes with dark beaded necklaces stand close; a woman in a white sari with gold-bordered edge presses her palms together in greeting, and a woman on the left looks on. A crowd of men and women stands along the roadside behind them, with a stone pillar and a blue sign at the left edge.2009-02-02March 03 20172017-03-03July 08 20102010-07-08A smiling man in an orange saffron robe with a gold-beaded necklace and white forehead marking stands in a thatched open hall, talking with an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti. Other men in white and orange dhotis stand around them on a concrete floor, and a pink banner with Tamil text hangs behind. Whether the smiling figure is a person is uncertain from appearance alone.2011-01-16Outdoor photo of a long-haired man seated cross-legged on rocks over an orange cloth on grassy ground with scattered trees behind. He wears an orange robe draped over his shoulders, a long rudraksha mala, and a red mark on his forehead, with his hands clasped on his knee. Two men in white clothes sit nearby, one at right wearing gold bangles, and a wooden staff lies at the lower left. The long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji in person.2008-01-03
