A gold-patterned red drape hangs behind them. Behind, a woman in a white sari and a seated woman in white watch, with more people in red and white clothing and brass lamps in the background. a person: the seated figure wears saffron and gold ceremonial clothing with a long hairstyle and a beaded neck ornament, and the page names a person for this event.2014-01-11A young man in a pale yellow kurta with an orange-and-red shawl and a beaded necklace kneels and looks upward as a bearded man with long dreadlocked hair, a rudraksha-style mala, a pink floral garland and gold bangles presses a fingertip to his forehead, apparently marking a tilak. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and saffron or orange scarves stand and watch, and a decorated stage with red drapes, saffron-robed figures and camera operators is visible in the background. The bearded man matches the page's a person reference only through his long hair, dreadlocks and ceremonial adornments, so this is an appearance-based probable identification as the presenter of the blessing. Overall it reads as a ritual blessing in a satsang setting.2016-10-07 +1 copiesA seated man with a bare upper torso, wearing an orange-brown shawl, a gold chain and a long beaded rudraksha-style mala, places his right palm on the forehead of a young man in a white collared shirt with bangles on his wrist. The seated figure has white horizontal forehead markings and a red bindi. Behind them are a red draped cloth, orange-robed attendants, a tray of offerings and orange flowers in a vase. The seated figure is a person by appearance, giving a blessing to a devotee.2012-09-05A man in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair swept back and a red bindi on his forehead places his right palm on the head of a short-haired man in a navy and orange striped polo shirt. A gold beaded necklace hangs on the robed man's chest. Behind them a red curtain and a partly visible seated figure in white and orange suggest a satsang or blessing setting. The robed man's cues (long hair, saffron clothing, gold necklace) are consistent with Swamiji, so this is a probable in-person appearance giving a blessing; the recipient is a devotee receiving the blessing. Two people are visible in the foreground, with others partly seen behind.2008-06-20A photograph of a ceremonial moment in a decorated hall with red curtains. In the foreground, a young man in a pale yellow kurta with an orange shawl kneels with his palms raised, while a bearded man with long dreadlocked hair, a pink-and-white flower garland, gold bangles and a gold necklace places his right hand on the young man's forehead in blessing. Behind them, a bare-chested man wears a white dhoti and an orange-and-red cloth draped over his shoulder, a standing man in white clothes watches, and devotees in orange and red garments sit nearby. A camera operator with a video camera is at the right edge, and a red carpet and a stage area with yellow and orange-clad figures are visible in the background. a person is the bearded man with long dreadlocks, gold ornaments and flower garland performing the blessing.2016-10-07A photograph of a devotee with folded palms, wearing a cream kurta and a dark rudraksha mala, receiving a blessing as another person places a hand on his forehead. The blessing giver wears a saffron-orange garment and a garland of red and green flowers over the shoulders. Another partially visible figure stands behind the devotee against a dark background.2009-11-21August 21 20122012-08-21 +1 copiesClose photograph of a seated man with eyes closed and head slightly raised, receiving a white ash or sandalwood paste mark across his forehead and neck.
