A standing statue, gilded or silver-toned, in a golden ornate arched shrine frame, draped in a yellow-saffron shawl and turban with a red tilak on the forehead, wearing a beaded orange-gold necklace and raising one hand in blessing (abhaya mudra). The statue is framed by dense garlands of red roses, yellow marigolds and white flowers, with flowers heaped at its feet. Palm trees and a dusk sky appear behind the shrine. No physical people are visible. This is a statue, so it is a depiction; the statue's facial features are not used for identification, and the presentation cues (saffron-yellow shawl, turban, ornate beaded necklace) are the basis for the appearance-based label, with the page's event context supplying the link.2011-11-29November 29 20112011-11-29Night photograph of a statue-like figure standing within an ornate gold arched frame draped with garlands of red, yellow and white flowers. The figure has a bald golden-painted head, a yellow shawl draped over the body and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, with one hand raised in blessing. A gilded palanquin or chariot panel appears at left, and a sign board stands in the background. No living people are clearly visible; a partially visible figure in white stands at the right edge, faintly visible beyond the frame. The figure is a statue or murti, not an in-person candidate.2011-11-29A gold-toned statue of a standing figure in a gilded arched shrine niche, with a green and gold floral backdrop.
