Its hands are raised in mudra gestures and its legs are crossed in a seated pose on a lotus-like pedestal base. Around it are scattered tools and materials: an angle grinder, metal fittings, a wrench, pliers, loose rods, a grey concrete block and red bricks, with electrical cables running across the ground. No people are visible in the frame.October 20 20062006-10-20A bare-chested priest with a white cloth over his shoulder pours liquid from a small brass vessel over a dark green stone deity murti seated on a pedestal. The murti has a tall crown, four arms, a gold necklace and a flowing reddish-brown cloth draped over its lap. Behind it is a deep maroon backdrop framed by a gold ornate arch, and a brass bell is visible at the left edge. The scene appears to be an abhishekam ritual.2021-03-21Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalaya +1 copiesMaking Of Sacred Arts University +1 copiesPhotograph of several metal deity murtis wrapped in clear plastic and packing material, arranged in a room before shipping. A large arched halo-like frame stands behind a multi-armed deity murti on the left, and a second seated murti in ornate dress with a crown sits beside it. To the right, a figure in a pinkish-brown shawl stands near a silver-coloured pedestal or box, with a small statue behind. Cloth wrappings and boxes lie on the floor, and a white curtain hangs in the background.November 10 20112011-11-10February 20 2006, Arrival At Los Angeles2006-02-20
