Night procession on a dark street seen from above. A brightly lit, illuminated float with a large pale green umbrella stands at right, its frame outlined in white string lights, with figures in garlands and ornaments around it. Crowds of people in white clothes fill the street, many carrying items, and a white canopied cart and a figure holding a brass pot or lamp appear at left. Dense rows of devotees line the road in the foreground, so the people count is large.

A brightly lit, flower-decorated float or chariot with a green-and-white canopy stands at centre, with a figure in white standing on it beside a small garlanded deity murti. Dense crowds of people in white clothes walk and stand around the float, with a bearer team and a tractor-like vehicle with a white canopy ahead. At right, a brightly lit chariot (ratha) decorated with strings of electric lights, marigold garlands and hanging tassels carries a figure seated under a green canopy, and a tall illuminated pillar stands beside it. Many people in white dhotis and white shirts or kurtas fill the foreground and middle, some in saffron or orange robes near the top of the steps. A man in white stands at the chariot's edge, and a palanquin with a yellow-green canopy sits near the center. Brick buildings and a railing frame the background.2015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13Night procession photographed from a distance: a large crowd of devotees in white dhotis, saris and mixed clothing walks along a dim ground lit by string lights. At the centre a decorated open palanquin or float, draped in orange and yellow marigold garlands and fairy lights, carries a seated figure in an orange robe; a standing attendant in white with a turban stands beside it. Tridents, staffs and ceremonial poles are held aloft among the crowd, and a tent frame and multicoloured bunting stand in the background. Visible figures are numerous, but a seated figure's identity is not established by appearance.2015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13A night procession on a street lit by strings of multicoloured fairy lights and a bright lamp post. A decorated float or chariot with golden draping and garlands carries several figures in ornate costume, one in a red garment, under a canopy. Dozens of people in white clothes crowd along both sides of the road and walk beside the float, with flags and a tall pole at right. Coloured bunting hangs overhead. No individual figure on the float can be clearly identified, so no a person candidate is asserted.2015-02-19January 13 20152015-01-13
