Photo inside a dim temple sanctum with ornate gold-toned metal panels framing the doorway. At centre, a deity murti is decorated with red and white garlands and stands before a glowing arched backdrop beside oil lamps and brass vessels on a gold-covered altar. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti holds his hands joined in prayer near the altar, while a second priest in white dhoti stands at the right side of the shrine. In the foreground, a person in an orange-red shawl with a beaded headband and a rudraksha-style necklace kneels with joined hands, back to camera. On the far right, a uniformed police officer in khaki stands watching beside the doorway. Several people are visible, and the scene reads as temple worship.

Offerings sit on a plate at the base of the murti. A shaven-headed priest in an orange saffron shawl with gold border stands at centre, looking down at a lit oil lamp held over a small deity murti dressed in white with garlands and a gold arch behind it. Men in white dhotis and a man in a white shirt and khaki uniform stand around the shrine. Oil lamps burn on a ledge and framed paintings of figures hang on the back wall. Five to six people are visible; the figure in orange is shown without a clear appearance match for a person, so the role is described as priest.2012-06-05June 05 20122012-06-05May 16 20122012-05-16Photograph of a temple shrine interior with a golden arched niche edged in orange lights and a silver-topped canopy. Two men on the right wear white dhotis with gold borders and white shawls; one holds a brass bell-shaped vessel and a lamp is lit beside them. No clearly distinctive a person cues are visible, so the identity is unsure.2012-05-14 +1 copies
