At night outside a temple, a smiling person in saffron-orange robes and a long gold beaded necklace holds a lit oil lamp flame in one hand and a silver bell in the other, performing aarti before a deity murti pair. The deities are dark-faced with gold crowns, flower garlands in yellow and red, and jewelled ornaments. A white-clad priest with a shaved head and white vibhuti tilak stands at left holding a plate of offerings. Gilded arches frame the shrine, and a black signboard in front shows the temple name in Tamil script. Swamiji (probable): the orange robes, long swept-back hair and ornate beaded gold necklace are the cues for the central figure.
