Outdoor photograph of a ritual scene on bare earth. In the centre, a man in a long saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair stands beside a white-draped table, a trident-topped staff visible at right. Nearby, a man in white with a yellow shawl stands beside him. Several young men in white and light-blue T-shirts, some barefoot with wet clothes, are gathered near a blue barrel, and one bare-chested man stands at left. A woman in orange holds a microphone and garlands, and a row of clay pots sits at the table's edge. Colourful striped umbrellas with tassels shelter the area, and a half-built concrete building is behind. Watermarked captions are omitted.

A seated man in orange robes with a flower garland and a rudraksha mala holds a microphone and speaks, smiling; he has long swept-back hair and a sweeping saffron wrap, and his appearance is consistent with the page's a person reference, so this is a probable in-person candidate. Beside him a man in a white shirt with a round blue emblem holds the umbrella pole. Two people in white dhotis with yellow sashes bend forward at a large blue barrel, their heads being doused with water, while a bald man in a white shirt and a man in white with a yellow sash look on. A crowd of women in white saris and girls in colourful dresses watches and laughs in the background, and a plain tent and buildings appear behind them.2009-12-25Outdoor procession on a dusty ground with multicoloured tasselled ceremonial umbrellas on poles. A man with long dark hair and a flower garland wears an orange saffron garment and holds a microphone, while nearby a figure in yellow-bordered white holds a long pole. Many devotees in white shirts and yellow-sashed white clothes crowd around, some with hands folded in prayer. Trident-shaped ceremonial staffs appear at right. The no-visible-candidate appearance is uncertain, so the man is described by role only.2009-12-25February 24 20072007-02-24A large outdoor gathering at a ritual site under a canopy edged with red and yellow tassels. In the foreground a person with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a white flower garland, stands with their back to the camera beside a blue plastic drum of water. Several devotees in white shirts and white dhotis hold buckets and pour water in a flurry of spray, while a man in white kurta and trousers stands near the centre. A large crowd of people in white and light clothing watches from behind metal poles, and a sheet-metal structure and trees fill the background. A woman in white at right holds a camera. The scene suggests an abhishekam-style water ritual, though the exact rite is not clearly labelled.2009-12-25December 23 20092009-12-23December 25 20092009-12-25Outdoor procession on muddy ground under a red umbrella with multicoloured tassels, held on a wooden pole by a man in white kurta and dhoti with a yellow shawl and rudraksha mala.
