Photograph at a large indoor gathering. A man in a turquoise turban and turquoise-trimmed white robe with long dark hair and a white floral garland places his right hand on the head of a young woman in a navy top with a red-patterned skirt, who kneels with palms pressed together. Behind them a dense crowd of young men in white shirts and a man in a red-and-white patterned shirt watch. The man in the turban is an appearance-based a person candidate: long swept-back hair, ornate turquoise and gold-trimmed clothing, and a ceremonial garland. Behind them a dense crowd of mostly young men in white shirts and some in striped shirts sits or stands, several with white headbands and red forehead marks. A pedestal fan is visible at the upper right. The man wears distinctive long hair, a turban and a turquoise shawl, consistent with the page's reference to a darshan session, so he is a person giving blessings to a delegate in person.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09A photograph of a long-haired man in a turquoise turban and turquoise shawl over white clothing, placing his hands on the head of a young woman with a long braid, white top and gold bangle. A man in a pale turquoise turban and white garment with a turquoise shawl, long dark hair and beard, stands on the right and places his right hand on the forehead of a woman with hair in a long plait, who has her palms pressed together in namaskar. She wears a light blue top and a thin gold chain. Behind them a dense crowd of men and boys in white and pastel shirts fills the hall, with a few hanging orange and white banners near the top edge. Swamiji (probable) is the man giving darshan with the turquoise turban and shawl, long hair and beard, and the distinctive ceremonial turban and shawl are his cues.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09
