A dim video frame of a devotional gathering in front of a wall covered with printed Tamil text in white and black lettering. In the lower left, several people in white garments sit on the floor, and a shaved-headed figure in white stands at a raised position with his hands together. A lit lamp or flame glows near the centre, and a person in white is seen at the right edge.

May 18 20122012-05-18May 18 20122012-05-18Photograph of a temple ritual at night with a crowd of men pressed close together. In the centre, a man in a red-orange garment and a gold-coloured shawl stands with his hands together while several bare-chested men with orange cloths around their waists and shoulders surround him. Several people carry garlands or offerings, and a warm lamp light illuminates the scene. The setting appears to be a South Indian temple courtyard associated with a padukapooja-style welcome. No clear face-based identification is made; the central figure's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2012-05-16A photograph inside a temple hall during a puja. A man in a white dhoti and white upper cloth stands at the right, holding a brass plate or lamp over a seated figure. In the left foreground, a devotee lies prostrate on a mat, face down, in a red garment. Behind them, a row of black stone deity murtis stands in niches along the wall. A white altar and small brass vessels with offerings and flowers are in the centre foreground. Several seated devotees in white and colourful clothes sit near the altar.2011-09-10May 18 20122012-05-18 +1 copiesMay 13 20122012-05-13 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 9/16/20202020-09-16May 18 20122012-05-18 +1 copiesA nighttime photograph of a row of seated figures on a raised dais, each in dark robes with red and white accents, several with long hair, seemingly taking part in a ceremony. Dim warm lighting and a few onlookers at the edge of the frame suggest an indoor event. The figures appear to be statues or seated figures rather than clearly identifiable living people; the visible cues are too limited to attribute any individual to a person.September 10 20112011-09-10Interior of a temple shrine at night, with a bright oil lamp in the lower left foreground lit by a flame. Several hands are visible at the left edge, held in worship or offering. Behind them, a deity murti is dressed with a green cloth and multiple floral garlands, with orange and yellow cloths draped over images, and a lit brass lamp stands on a ledge beside the ornamented figures. The setting suggests an aarti or puja at a temple sanctum; no clear person is identifiable among the figures.2012-05-16May 18 20122012-05-18 +1 copies
