Musicians perform on the paved floor: a man in white dhoti and shirt plays a long wooden pipe (nadaswaram-style), another in white plays a double-headed drum, and several young men in saffron-orange dhotis and turbans play large drums and long brass horns (kompu/ceremonial trumpets). A bare-chested drummer in red-and-saffron cloth stands near the steps. The scene resembles a traditional welcome procession for an arriving vehicle. A visible figure in orange near the vehicle may be a sannyasi but no clear identifying cues are present.
