Outdoor photo at a street-side inauguration. A young man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange saffron-coloured wrap over a red top and bare feet, stands at right gesturing toward a grey stone pillar with a black plaque carrying Tamil text. A man in a white shirt and dark sunglasses pulls a yellow cord that raises a yellow flag on a tall pole atop the pillar. Behind, a woman in white holds a metal pot, and a red-carpeted platform and a white-draped table hold a steel plate with a banana leaf, rice, flowers and lit lamps, plus a plate of blue flower petals. A banner in Tamil with a portrait is visible in the background. The person in orange has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, but the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity.
