Outdoor photograph of a bare-backed man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl seen from behind, raising his right arm and holding a long wooden pole upward amid drifting white smoke or incense haze. Tall palm trees and dense foliage rise behind him, with corrugated-roof buildings and a parked vehicle in the background. Several people in orange garments stand at left, one in white clothing with a camera visible. A small statue or shrine figure appears near the right edge.

He stands barefoot on a white concrete platform beside a fire pit, arms spread outward with palms turned as if warming his hands over the smoke. Behind him, a second man in orange robes stands near a silver SUV, with a small brass lamp and bowl on the platform edge. Palm trees and a low tiled-roof building fill the background.2009-06-15
