A photograph of a ceremonial blessing at an indoor event. A bearded man with long dreadlocked hair, wearing a rust-red shawl over his shoulder, gold necklace and gold bangle, rests his right hand on the head of a young boy with shaved hair. The boy, bare-chested with a white cloth and white thread, stands with palms pressed together in namaskar and eyes closed. Behind them a golden deity murti or ornate golden figure is visible. Other people in white ritual clothes, some with white dhoti and white shawls, stand around, and a red curtain hangs in the background. A man with a shaved head and white tilak marks on his forehead also appears near the boy.
