A photograph of a shadow or puppet-style stage: a white cloth screen lit against a black backdrop shows two painted wooden articulated puppets. On the left, a smaller puppet with a red face, dark hair and a green-and-white striped top stands with one arm extended. On the right, a taller female puppet with an orange body, ornate jewelled bodice, green skirt and an elaborate updo points her arm toward the smaller figure. No physical people are visible in the frame.
