Night photograph of a large black Shiva lingam wrapped with a band of white and red flower garlands, with a silver-coloured yoni-style base and a central round silver emblem near its foot. Seated atop the lingam on a raised metal platform is a bearded man with a saffron-orange turban and an orange-red rudraksha mala, performing a ritual with a small lit flame. Two attendants in dark clothing sit beside him. Behind them is a row of hundreds of small white Shiva lingas arranged in tiered rows, and strings of coloured lights and red banners frame the scene. The setting suggests a rudrabhishekam at a large outdoor lingam site.
