January 03 20162016-01-03January 03 20162016-01-03Aerial view of a large crowd gathered on the stepped stone ghats beside a reflecting water tank at a temple-like complex. Rows of unlit oil lamps line the red stepped banks on the left, and potted plants sit on the upper steps. Many devotees, mostly women in white and in bright saris of pink, green, yellow and orange, sit closely packed on the steps and along the railing, some holding long bamboo poles or sticks. A man in white stands among them with arm extended, and banana leaves and green decorative leaves are tied along the railings. The scene suggests a night ritual gathering with a mass of devotees facing the water.2010-02-12March 10 20132013-03-10January 03 20162016-01-03A large outdoor crowd fills red-painted tiered steps descending toward water, with metal handrails running along both sides of the stairs. Hundreds of seated devotees, mostly dressed in white, sit closely together, with some in saffron, orange, pink and green saris and kurtas among them. A few people stand at the top corners near a palm-lined bank and a red-and-white truck or vehicle in the background. The scene resembles a large gathering at a riverside or pond ghat. No single figure can be clearly distinguished as a presenter, and no a person candidate is confidently visible.2010-07-25January 03 20162016-01-03October 17 20102010-10-17October 16 20162016-10-16January 03 20162016-01-03October 04 20142014-10-04January 03 20162016-01-03
