A night procession on a decorated golden palanquin, lit against a dark sky. Two seated figures ride the ornate gold-framed vehicle, which is hung with marigold and pink flower garlands, tassels and a golden carved finial. The figure on the left, in orange clothing with a white garland, has palms pressed together in greeting. A second seated figure in orange and a headdress stands behind, raising a hand under a red-and-gold umbrella. In the foreground a bald man in orange robes faces the palanquin, and another attendant in orange stands at the right beside a crowd of onlookers. Striped and ornate canopies overhead.
