A man with long dark wavy hair sits on an orange velvet throne-like chair against a maroon velvet backdrop, reading a sheet of paper held in both hands. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe draped over the shoulders and a small red tilak on his forehead, and his bare feet rest on the orange cushioned platform. Two orange round bolster cushions flank him, with a brass ornament visible near his right side. Appearance and presentation suggest a person, given long hair, saffron clothing and a throne, though the identity is uncertain from appearance alone.
