A festival procession on a dirt road outside a walled compound with a green iron gate. Large papier-mache puppet heads on costumed bearers dominate the frame: a bald figure in a yellow kurta and white dhoti with a tilak, a figure in a blue patterned tunic and tall white cap, an elephant-headed figure in white dhoti, a tall figure in a pink robe and white turban with a yellow scarf, and a figure in a dark floral outfit. Drummers in yellow kurtas and red sashes play drums behind them, and a decorated palanquin with orange canopy and garlands stands in the background beside balloons and banana plants.
