A night photograph of an outdoor ground beside a corrugated metal shutter and a street lamp. A flaming torch or burning bundle is held aloft at left, lighting the dirt ground orange. Several men in white dhoti and white shirts stand in a line at right, some holding small lamps or torches, and others walk near the fire. A figure in a red garment stands among them. The scene appears to be a ritual lighting during the Brahmotsav celebration, with the flames as the focal point.
