A night photograph of a decorated festival float or ratha at an outdoor street setting. The float is wrapped in marigold and garland swags in orange, yellow and white, with banana stalks and coconuts at the sides and a hanging white floral garland at each corner. Beneath a framed image of a deity murti, possibly a Shiva form, shaped by a flower-covered platform in green, yellow, pink and maroon. A man in a light shirt walks past in the foreground, and a child stands at the left edge. A yellow banner across the top carries Tamil text announcing an Ananda Rathotsavam procession and Kodikkan darshan yatra.
