A uniformed police officer stands behind the group, and onlookers fill the background. A large blue banner held overhead bears Tamil script. Swamiji (probable): the central figure has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, and a gold ceremonial necklace with a garland, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji at this event.
