A photograph of a puja being performed on a covered golden-pillared terrace at night. In the foreground, an elderly man in an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a low wooden platform, reading from an open book while holding a ritual object. Beside him, a woman in a green sari sits and a bare-chested man in an orange dhoti sits in meditative posture. A tall brass oil lamp with a flame stands on the floor, along with brass plates of fruit, flowers and offerings, a banana leaf, and brass vessels. To the left, a golden deity murti with flower garlands and red and white petals stands on a tiered golden pedestal.

Two priests sit on a mat in the foreground performing puja: the seated priest on the left wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with his back to the camera, and a younger priest on the right, bare-chested with a sacred thread, tends brass vessels, a plate of flowers and a lit oil lamp. Brass oil lamps, bowls, plates of pink flowers and fruit surround them, and a golden deity murti stands at the right edge of the room.2022-01-21Photo of a puja inside a golden temple hall at night.
