A man in a white shirt and white dhoti-style trousers lifts a red and white flower garland toward a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair who wears a saffron-orange wrap over his shoulders and a saffron top. A woman in a gold and green sari stands beside them, holding a brass pot with green leaves and white flower garlands. Another person in orange robes is partly visible at the right edge, and a woman in green stands at the far left. Cars are parked in the background. The long hair, saffron clothing and reception-with-garland setting match the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues, so the robed man is identified as a probable Swamiji receiving a welcome garland.2010-02-16Outdoor photo beside a black SUV on a tree-lined street. A woman in an orange-red sari with gold border applies a mark to the forehead of a man in an orange robe with a black turban, who stands with a long red and white flower garland around his neck and a gold-bordered orange shawl. Behind them, men in orange clothing play drums and a large silver pot with a green leaf and yellow flowers sits on a tray held by a person at left. Palm trees and a sunny sky fill the background. The man in the turban has long swept-back hair and a distinctive orange garb cue, so he is a person receiving a welcome with garlands and drumming during the event.2016-01-11August 17 20142014-08-17A photograph at a house entrance with a paved courtyard and a rangoli-style white floral pattern on the ground.
