Night photograph of a large seated gathering under a massive banyan tree with many aerial roots hanging from its branches. Dozens of people sit closely on the ground in front of the trunk, many dressed in white clothing, with some in pale blue, beige and light green tones. Several people near the back wear white and stand or sit above the crowd. At the lower right, a woman in a cream jacket and yellow-gold garment sits on a raised stone platform beside a microphone stand and a speaker. The lighting is dim, lit mainly by a few lamps and the speaker area.
