A tall copper flagstaff (dhwaja stambha) rises from an ornate copper-clad base decorated with carved panels, wrapped with a dark band and draped with white and red flower garlands and marigold blossoms. A figure in a saffron-orange robe reaches up with one arm to the top of the staff, touching it during a dhwajarohanam flag-hoisting ritual. Coconut palms and an open pale sky surround the shrine. Floral offerings sit on a brass tray at the base, and a small deity murti is visible in the niche of the shrine. The robed figure is wearing orange cloth and has no visible rudraksha or crown, so the identity is uncertain.
