A crowd of many seated devotees fills the foreground and middle, most in white or light clothing, some on chairs and others on mats on the floor. At the far end a golden ornate throne sits on a raised stage flanked by dark maroon drapes, with two large screens showing an image of a seated figure with long hair and saffron robes. Several people stand near the stage and at the left edge.2013-01-19A photograph of a large tented hall with many attendees seated on white plastic chairs facing a stage at the far end. Most attendees are women wearing white clothes, with some in pink, yellow, green and maroon saris. Colourful painted cylindrical hangings with yellow fringe hang from the white ceiling. A flat-screen monitor sits on the stage area, a video camera on a tripod is set up in the aisle, and a large orange cloth backdrop stands behind the stage. On the right, a woman in a white sari with a red border stands near the stage. A banner with a portrait is visible on the right wall. No deity or specific ritual is clearly visible.2009-09-27October 07 20062006-10-07A large indoor hall with a white tent-style ceiling and colourful striped hanging panels. Rows of white plastic chairs hold many seated attendees, most in white, pink, green and yellow clothes, viewed from behind. At the front, a woman in a white sari stands at a lectern beside a screen. Near the stage an orange cloth-draped seat is set up, with a framed portrait on an easel and a flower arrangement. A video camera on a tripod records the session. The setting suggests a meditation therapy talk, with a large crowd present.2009-09-27
