A photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a bright room with white walls and a white sofa. A person in an orange-saffron robe sits on the sofa with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing a multicoloured garland of yellow, white and magenta flowers, and a short-cropped head with a tilak mark. In front of the sofa, a man in an orange robe with a maroon shawl holds a silver vessel and lamp toward the seated figure's feet, which rest on a small plate with flowers and offerings. A seated devotee in white shirt and grey trousers, hands folded, watches at right beside a bowl of fruit and a standing fan. Pink lotus flowers, a white flower arrangement and a brass pot lie on the white cloth in front.

A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a yellow and white garland and a rudraksha-style mala stands with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered, feet placed on a low stool or platform. A second person in orange robes kneels at the feet holding a silver lamp with a flame and a silver vessel, performing a pada puja. On the right, a person in white shirt and dark trousers sits with hands joined near a plate of fruit. Pink lotus flowers rest on white cushions of a sofa, a pedestal fan stands at right, and a silver tray with a white and yellow offering sits in the foreground. Appearance-based identification of the central saffron-robed figure is uncertain, so the subject is described by role only.2008-08-13August 13 20082008-08-13A seated person in orange saffron robes with a multicolour flower garland of yellow marigolds and white blossoms sits on a white sofa with pink lotus cushions, palms pressed together in namaste. The standing figure wears a multicoloured garland of yellow, white, red and purple flowers, and holds palms together in namaskar. A seated attendant in orange robes with a red-striped shawl kneels at left holding a silver puja vessel, while a bowl of fruit and brass ritual objects are arranged on a white cloth. This is a padapuja, a foot-worship ritual. Swamiji (probable): the standing figure has long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a flower garland, but the appearance is not conclusive, so the label is marked probable.2008-08-13
