He looks forward while a hand holds up a red staff or flag pole above him. Around him stand several men: at left a man in a red shirt with a gold-beaded necklace and red tilak, next to a man in an orange striped polo; at right a shaved-headed man in orange robes with layered gold chains, and behind them men in white shirts and a bald man wearing glasses. Several people are close together in a crowd setting. The sun is bright and the scene appears to be a public gathering or procession.2011-05-24July 10 20082008-07-10August 02 20082008-08-02October 17 20102010-10-17A photograph of a crowd outdoors under a clear blue sky. He sits on a stage in front of a beige backdrop, raising his right hand in a gesture while smiling, with a silver trident-like staff standing behind him. Two partly visible listeners in the foreground, one in a striped knit cap, face him. Cues for the central figure include the long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklace, so this is a person in person, seated and speaking to an audience.A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits cross-legged on a raised platform, raising his right hand in a gesture while speaking, with a small red mark on his forehead.
