A temple interior during a fire ritual. In the foreground a smoky fire pit with small flames and offerings, with brass vessels and a metal pot beside it on a red-and-white striped mat. Behind it, several men in ceremonial dress stand with hands folded in prayer: one in an orange-red dhoti and sash, one in a yellow dhoti and shawl, and others in white dhotis and saffron cloth. A man at right wears a white dhoti with a lighter wrap. A decorated altar at right holds heaped white, pink and red garlands and flowers, with a brass lamp in front. Colourful umbrellas, marigold garlands and hanging decorations fill the upper background.

In the centre, a man in a yellow shawl over a white dhoti stands before a smoking fire pit built of stacked red bricks topped with flowers. Around him, priests in saffron and yellow dhotis tend the fire and hold offering items, and a man in a white dhoti and shawl with a mala stands to the right. Brass lamps, a copper pot, fruit and a flowered altar sit around the fire pit. The pictured person's appearance does not clearly match the ceremonial description, so the identity is uncertain. Five or more people are visible.2018-04-14April 14 20182018-04-14 +1 copies
