Around the tank, men in white dhotis and bare upper bodies sit in rows before brass plates with oil lamps and flowers, while women in white and saffron saris and a woman in a magenta blouse also sit with offering plates. Spectators fill tiered seating along the right and far background. Floodlights and the evening sky frame the scene.
