A photograph of a pada puja offering: a person in orange-red robes stands at the top edge, bare feet visible, with a rope-like sacred cord at the waist, pressing close to a large ornate gold-embossed tray. The tray holds silver bowls and cups filled with white milk-like liquid, pink lotus flowers, white flowers, orange marigold petals, red-and-white fruit and small flame lamps. The setting is dark with warm lights in the background.

Pink lotus flowers with a gold-and-beaded garland lie among the silver vessels, and there are apples, white flower petals, a silver conch-shaped vessel and a silver ladle. The person's feet are partly visible, with no face shown.2010-11-19A photo of a ceremonial puja setup on a gilded golden platform. Silver thali trays hold small silver bowls filled with yellow liquid, with pink, purple and white flower petals and red marigold garlands. Two silver pots with spouts and small silver vessels are arranged among the trays. At the top left, a bare foot rests on the platform beside the offerings, below orange-brown dhoti cloth with a gold border. A red patterned runner is visible in the background.2013-01-31Close photograph of a pair of bare feet in a padapuja ritual, resting on a gold-tinted ornate tray. The feet, dark-skinned, extend from the edge of the frame, and the person wears a saffron-orange cloth draped over the legs. Around the feet are polished silver plates and bowls holding pink lotus flowers, white flower petals and garlands, a red-and-yellow apple, and small brass vessels. The scene is an offering of flowers and fruit at the feet.2010-11-03Close photo of a ritual scene on a large gold-toned tray. A person in orange-saffron cloth stands at the right edge, showing bare feet with a cracked heel and pale toenails pressed against the tray. The tray holds small golden kalasha-style vessels, pink lotus flowers, sliced white vegetables or coconut pieces in shallow silver bowls, and a red apple. Silver-toned plates with embossed rims surround the arrangement, a pink flower petal in the foreground. This appears to be a puja offering arrangement rather than a full group scene, with the orange-clad person visible only from the feet to the hem of the garment.2010-10-31 +2 copiesClose view of a padapuja ritual: a bare foot in an orange-saffron garment rests on a golden tray.
