A seated figure in saffron-orange robes, a red sash and a heavy red and white flower garland, with a white tilak on the forehead, presses palms together. A man in white shirt and white dhoti kneels and washes or honours the seated figure's bare feet, which rest on scattered red rose petals. A woman in a turquoise sari with a white flower in her hair holds a brass plate and a small lamp-like item. Behind them, a woman in an orange-peach salwar and people in pale shirts stand with hands folded. Blue plastic bags and flower offerings lie on the ground.
