In the centre a man in white ritual clothes, glasses and a dark rudraksha-style mala with a pendant, with a white tilak on his forehead, stands smiling beside a woman in a white sari with a red bindi. To the right a smiling man wears an orange-saffron cloth wrapped as a turban, a bare upper body with orange wrap, and a dark mala with gold pendant. Behind them an older woman in white and other spectators stand, and at the right edge a woman in a bright green sari with flowers in her hair is partly visible. The seated figure wears orange robes, a white flower garland, a green shawl draped over the shoulders and a red bindi; the figure appears to be a probable Swamiji (probable) with long swept-back hair and ceremonial adornment, seated in a place of honour. Behind, a man in white shirt observes, and two men in orange robes sit to the right with hands folded. A brass plate holds flowers and offerings at the feet, in a plain white-walled room with a barred window.2009-08-13A seated man in an orange sleeveless garment and a thick red and pink flower garland receives a blessing as an elderly man in a white shirt and white dhoti with a maroon waistband bows forward and presses his hands near the seated man's head. Another person in white stands behind them in the background. The seated man's arm is raised touching the elderly man's head. Behind them is a gold-framed throne with ornate carvings and a red cushion, and a red and orange painted backdrop. A water bottle sits on the left edge.2010-01-02 +2 copiesIndoor photograph of a seated man in a white kurta with a saffron-orange shawl and a garland of yellow marigolds and green leaves, his right arm raised with hands clasped overhead. The white-clad man smiles and passes a folded paper or small packet into the seated man's hands. Behind them a smiling woman in a cream sari with red border stands, and a bald man in an orange shawl sits. A metal IV-like stand with green tubing is at right; a deity murti stands at left, and a box labelled Ananda Bhavan sits near the bottom. A man in a long-sleeved white shirt and a red-beaded rudraksha mala holds a pineapple-shaped fruit toward a man in an orange-red garment who leans forward to receive it. A woman in a white sari with pink floral print, gold bangles and a dark braid leans in to touch the fruit. Behind them a tall pillar of red, yellow and white flower garlands stands at right, and seated devotees fill the blurred background. The man in orange shows an appearance-based candidate for a person, with long swept-back dark hair and a saffron-orange garment, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2009-07-25
