A photograph of a Chandi Homa purnahuti in progress, with dense white smoke filling the frame. A bare-chested man with a long beard and a dark head covering stands at the fire-offering area, holding a brass bowl of round sweets and offering them into the flames. He wears an orange cloth wrapped at the waist and a gold-beaded necklace. In front of him are heaped bananas, a green coconut, a garland of yellow and red flowers, and fruit. The scene is lit warmly against a dark background.
