A photograph of a fire ritual inside a decorated hall. Priests in saffron and yellow dhotis and bare-chested devotees stand around a brick fire pit where smoke rises thickly. One priest in saffron, with a yellow shawl and sacred ash marks, holds a metal plate over the flames. Other attendants hold trays and kalasha-style pots, and flower garlands and marigold strings hang across the ceiling. A decorated altar with flowers, fruit and a metal vessel sits at right. Brass lamps stand on the red cloth-covered floor in front of the bricks.
