A large indoor gathering of devotees seated on a white tiled floor during a Navaratri darbar. In the centre, a woman with long dark hair in an orange-red outfit sits on a red-cushioned ornate silver throne, which is empty of a clear, identifiable figure in this view. Around her, many seated people wear white dhotis and white kurtas, some with saffron-orange sashes or orange garments, and several have shaved heads and bare upper bodies wrapped in red-orange cloth. A small silver stand and standing fans are visible nearby. Above, a large screen shows a figure in orange-red robes. Rows of white chairs and red-draped tables line the background wall, with framed pictures and a dark-framed clock above.
