A photograph of a devotional offering scene indoors. A long-haired man with a swept-back turban-like hairstyle, a brown robe, and heavy gold necklaces and armlets sits on a red cushioned seat, smiling as devotees approach. Several women in saris, one in purple and others in cream and white, bring plates and offerings. A woman in purple leans forward holding a small silver plate of flowers. Behind them, a tall yellow-and-gold backdrop is decorated with red and white flower garlands, green leaves and marigolds. A standing fan and red curtains are visible in the room, and a group of onlookers stands at the right. Strands of white jasmine and red roses lie in front of the seat.
